Fnatic vs Weibo Gaming could be detrimental for one of the few remaining EMEA Teams – but can Oscarinin fulfill his promise and bring an end to TheShy’s career?
A Preview of the Fnatic vs Weibo Gaming Matchup
The Fnatic Team
After the downfall of G2 Esports on Saturday, LEC fans can still have faith in Fnatic. Humanoid and his teammates managed to avoid elimination on Thursday by defeating Cloud9 in a Best of 3 series – although they needed all five matches to surpass the 2nd seed of the LCS. While they showed significant improvement in the 2nd and 3rd matches, their performance in the 1st match was subpar as Cloud9 could have ended the game quickly but instead prolonged it.
Prior to the match against Cloud9, Fnatic experienced defeats against LNG Esports and Bilibili Gaming. However, they showcased moments of brilliance in both games, such as Razork’s impressive performance on Taliyah against LNG and Noah’s exceptional Kai’Sa play against Bin and his teammates. In their matchup against GAM Esports, they played their own style, led by Razork and Oscar. Hopefully, they can replicate this performance against Weibo Gaming.

The Weibo Gaming Team
As the 4th seed of the LPL, *Weibo Gaming* has displayed incredible control over the Rift Herald. They managed to defeat NRG and MAD Lions, but couldn’t overcome G2 and KT Rolster. Their most one-sided match was against KT, where Xiaohu finished with an impressive 6/1/2 scoreline. However, the rest of the team struggled to find success. Against G2, they held a significant gold lead for over 10 minutes and controlled the game from minute 12, but ultimately couldn’t out-teamfight Caps and his teammates.
