Where to Find the Retreat Vault Keycard in Fortnite
Fortnite players can locate the Retreat Vault Keycard by eliminating the guard dressed in white clothing. This guard is found in the lobby outside the Relentless Retreat vault door. Be warned, this guard is the toughest enemy within the entire POI due to their shield and powerful weapons. However, after defeating them, they will drop a gold Assault Rifle and the Retreat Vault Keycard.
You’ll always find the guard right before the laser grid, which is located just outside the Relentless Retreat vault. To collect the Keycard, ensure you have a free slot in your hotbar as it will occupy one of your weapon slots.
Where to Use the Retreat Keycard in Fortnite
The Retreat Keycard is used to unlock the Relentless Retreat vault, positioned on the basement level. When holding the Keycard, an on-screen indicator will direct you to the vault door. Interact with the terminal while holding the Retreat Keycard to open the vault. Inside, you’ll discover two out of the following eight Mythic weapons, along with ample amounts of Gold and several Rare Chests:

- Zyg and Choppy’s Ray Gun

Remember, you can only take one Mythic weapon from its display case before the entire vault goes into lockdown mode. This triggers alarms and attracts guards to your location, so choose wisely and make a swift escape!
Relentless Retreat Vault Location & Heist Guide
To find the Relentless Retreat vault, land on the ground floor of the POI and head inside. Proceed downstairs immediately while acquiring a weapon along the way. In the basement, you’ll encounter numerous AI guards ready to challenge you. It’s recommended to eliminate them from a distance if possible. Alternatively, you can attempt to evade the enemies, but remember that they may pursue you and overwhelm you if you’re playing Solo.
Once you reach the bottom floor of Relentless Retreat, you’ll come across the white-clothed guard. Defeat them to acquire the Retreat Keycard. With the Keycard equipped, follow the on-screen instructions that lead you to the vault. Be cautious of the laser grid connecting the guarded lobby and the vault. If you trigger a laser, a Security Gate will close ahead of you. Use your Harvesting Tool or weaponry to destroy it.
Use the Keycard at the terminal to initiate the opening process for the Relentless Retreat vault. Wait a few seconds for the door to fully open. Take your time to thoroughly explore the vault and gather any necessary items before selecting a Mythic item from the display cases. Determine which two random Mythic weapons you desire most and press the appropriate button to acquire them.
Once you’ve taken a Mythic item, the lockdown alarm activates, and guards will swarm to your location. Now is the time to make a swift getaway! An effective strategy to avoid incoming AI is to utilize the vents on the right side as you return to the white guard room. Remember, it’s not just AI that will be aware of your presence in the vault, but other players as well! Be cautious of players waiting to ambush vault crackers delivering Mythic weapons right to them.
