Ultimate Guide to Warcraft Rumble Dungeons: Weekly Rotations and Relics
Dungeons are a recurring element in the expansive World of Warcraft universe and are an essential core element of the original vanilla MMO. However, in Warcraft Rumble, Dungeons return as side content offering players the chance to tackle more demanding challenges in exchange for potent, permanent upgrades. In contrast to classic WoW, Dungeons can be replayed as many times as desired, providing a robust gameplay experience.
Access to the Dungeon system is not granted until players have progressed through the game’s zones, but once unlocked, it serves as an excellent hub for grinding combat XP and bolstering Leaders concurrently. Each week, a new Dungeon becomes available, with specific requirements for player entry. This guide to Warcraft Rumble Dungeons aims to demystify the system’s core components and incentives, as well as provide detailed information on the unlock requirements.
How To Unlock Dungeons (& Other Requirements)
Players in Warcraft Rumble cannot access Dungeons at the outset of the game and must first reach a significant milestone in the regular campaign to unlock this feature. By completing levels in each zone for the first time, players earn Onyxia Sigils. Once they have amassed a total of 30 Onyxia Sigils, the Dungeon feature becomes available.
To enter a Dungeon, players need to tap on the fourth icon located at the bottom of the main screen. Here, they can view information about the weekly Dungeon, including the featured bosses, and which Leaders are required for entry.
Players should focus on unlocking new Leaders in the G.R.I.D. to ensure they have a sufficient variety of options for each Dungeon and faction rotation.
Warcraft Rumble Dungeons: Weekly Rotations & Relics
Players choose a matching Leader and a starting relic prior to facing off against each of the three challenging bosses consecutively each week in the Dungeon. As they progress through the Dungeon, they receive rewards based on their performance.
The Dungeon system in Warcraft Rumble is dynamic, and players can expect to encounter new bosses with distinct requirements every week. These bosses and Dungeons draw inspiration from their counterparts in World of Warcraft, such as the Deadmines, where familiar faces like Cookie and Mr. Smite make an appearance as adversaries.
In addition to the rotating Dungeon structure, each week is themed after a specific faction, and only Leaders from that faction are permitted to enter the Dungeon. For instance, during a Blackrock-themed week, only Rend Blackhand or General Drakkasith can enter the Dungeon, but there are no restrictions on the troops in a player’s army.
Relics & Items
At the beginning of the run and after defeating each boss, players can choose a Relic to empower their army. These Relics offer a wide range of abilities, from granting troops Bloodlust when Leaders are deployed to creating poison explosions upon troops’ deaths, and more. These buffs are effective only for the duration of the current Dungeon run.
Upon defeating each boss, players also obtain a small amount of Arc Energy and an item that serves as an extra Life during the current Dungeon run. Without this item, the Dungeon run would usually terminate and restart from the beginning if players fail to beat one of the three bosses.
Rewards For Partially Completed And Fully Cleared Dungeons
Upon defeating every boss, players receive a small amount of Arc Energy, as well as the standard combat XP earned after every encounter. However, the main appeal of Dungeons in Warcraft Rumble lies in the rewards for fully clearing a Dungeon. Players who successfully conquer all three maps and Dungeon bosses have the opportunity to permanently enhance their Leader and Army.
In addition to receiving a substantial amount of Arc Energy, players who achieve a Full Clear of a Dungeon experience significant benefits. The Leader they utilized during the run receives upgraded Army slots, each corresponding to a specific mini type, such as Flying, Horde, Unbound, and other characteristics. By inserting a matching mini into these enhanced slots, it gains temporary Levels based on the upgrades received – a slot that has been upgraded three times will confer three bonus levels to the corresponding mini.
These perks extend beyond Dungeons and remain effective in the regular campaign as well. Once unlocked, participating in Dungeons can serve as a valuable method to reinforce a struggling Army and tackle more demanding late-game Warcraft Rumble levels and Heroics.
