Honkai: Star Rail Surpasses 20 Million Downloads within a Day of Launch

Honkai: Star Rail, the latest turn-based RPG from miHoYo, has been making waves in the gaming industry since its release. In fact, it has already surpassed 20 million downloads within the first day of its release, according to Niko Partners director of research and insights Daniel Ahmad. This RPG has also received over 30 million pre-registrations, with more than 21 million coming from China and around 10 million from the rest of the world.

These impressive numbers are considerably higher than Genshin Impact’s pre-registration numbers, making Honkai: Star Rail one of the most highly anticipated RPGs of the year. This game is currently available for iOS, Android, and PC via its launcher and Epic Games Store. It is also set to launch on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 in the near future.
