About BLAST Premier and Magnum Partnership at World Final Abu Dhabi 2023
BLAST Premier has announced a partnership with Unilever ice cream brand Magnum for the BLAST Premier World Final Abu Dhabi 2023. The deal will see the ice cream brand integrated across the in-person and online broadcasts of the season-ending counter-strike series. In addition to the Magnum logo appearing during the broadcast of the final BLAST Premier tournament of 2023, its logo will feature on BLAST’s social media channels and during specific segments in between matches. Moreover, the ice cream brand will run in-person activations inside Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena. Magnum is no stranger to collaborating with BLAST Premier. The brand previously partnered with the tournament organizer for the 2021 Fall Groups and more recently, the 2022 Spring and Fall Finals. Outside of its involvement with BLAST Premier, Magnum partnered with French esports organization Team Vitality in December 2023. The 2023 BLAST Premier World Final takes place from December 13th-17th and features eight Counter-Strike teams competing for a share of $1m (~£782,300) in prize money. Magnum becomes the second partner of the BLAST Premier World Final. In November 2023, the tournament organizer secured a deal with automobile brand Lynk & Co with it becoming the official transport partner of the event. Alexander Lewin, Vice President of Distribution and Programming for BLAST, spoke on the deal: “We’re delighted to be re-joining forces with Unilever and have the Magnum brand return to the BLAST Premier circuit for its fourth event. It’s exciting to bring one of the world’s biggest ice cream manufacturers to our audience inside the Etihad Arena as well as to millions of fans following the action across BLAST’s global broadcast network.”
