Rarest Legendary Pokemon Caught in Pokemon GO
A fortunate Pokemon GO player has successfully caught Galarian Moltres and Articuno through the Daily Incense Adventure feature. Pokemon GO is continually expanding its Pokedex, providing trainers with an ever-growing array of creatures to collect.
One of the standout features in Pokemon GO this year is the introduction of Scarlet and Violet Pokemon. Niantic has introduced the Paldea starters, along with beloved characters like Lechonk, Fidough, and Klawf. Recent news has revealed that Tadbulb and Bellibolt will be joining Pokemon GO soon, bringing the total number of Paldea Pokemon to 27. In Pokemon GO, players typically encounter Pokemon in the wild, with some appearing more frequently than others. There are also Legendary Pokemon, often found in Raid Battles, and Mythical Pokemon that are discovered through Special Research quests. Certain pocket monsters are notoriously difficult to obtain, but one Pokemon GO player defied the odds and managed to catch two incredibly rare Pokemon.
Proof of Incredible Luck
Reddit user AllBadForYou had an astonishing stroke of luck when they caught Galarian Moltres and Articuno with the Daily Incense Adventure. In a post, the player shared a screenshot from their adventure on October 29th, where they walked 279 meters before encountering and capturing the two Legendary Birds, along with a Ralts. Although the Galarian forms of these Legendary Birds do not possess three stars, their CP (Combat Power) levels are impressive: Articuno at 640 CP and Moltres at 2593 CP. The latter especially stands out, as the maximum CP for a Galarian Moltres is 3580. To find Galarian variants of Legendary Birds, Pokemon GO players should participate in the Daily Incense Adventure.
- Reddit user AllBadForYou caught Galarian Moltres and Articuno through the Daily Incense Adventure
- Galarian forms of Legendary Birds have a base flee rate of 90%
- The chance of encountering Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno is very low
- Other trainers have also managed to find Galarian Legendary Birds
Many other Reddit users congratulated AllBadForYou on their incredibly fortunate catch and shared their own less successful stories. Most admitted that they had never even encountered the Galarian Legendary Birds, while others who did come across them were unable to capture them, even with an Ultra Ball. For example, one player shared that they recently saw a Galarian Moltres but failed to catch it after using five Ultra Balls. Galarian Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno are some of the rarest Pokemon in Pokemon GO due to their difficulty to both find and catch. The flee rate for this legendary trio is a staggering 90% after the first throw, meaning that while trainers have an opportunity to make a second throw, the odds are certainly not in their favor.
Although it is exceptionally rare, other trainers have shown that finding Galarian Legendary Birds in Pokemon GO is not entirely impossible. For those who have not been as fortunate, the search continues, and trainers eagerly await the introduction of even more variants in the game, such as Galarian Corsola, Hisuian Decidueye, and the remaining Paldean Pokemon.
