Indebted Kindness Weapon Review: Ultimate Tips for Legendary Success in Destiny 2
The Indebted Kindness is one of the very first rocket-launching Legendary sidearms available in Destiny 2, and it’s capable of some pretty awesome feats in PvE. While it may not possess the same blast radius as a traditional rocket launcher, it delivers a powerful punch that can easily eliminate priority targets.
Best Indebted Kindness Rolls
With its high base damage values, the Indebted Kindness is capable of achieving success in any game mode. However, its rockets have relatively slow travel speeds, meaning this weapon truly shines in PvE scenarios. That said, players can still bring this pistol into Destiny 2‘s PvP scene, but it will require a very special perk combination in order to stand out against other Guardians. Let’s dive into the ideal Indebted Kindness god rolls to keep an eye out for.
As the granted Roller-Assisted Frame archetype is still fairly fresh, players can anticipate that the suggested rolls for such weapons may change over time. Nevertheless, the Indebted Kindness boasts several top-tier perks that could set a new standard for future rocket pistols. These include:
- Third Column: Beacon Rounds, Enlightened Action, Impulse Amplifier, Offhand Strike, Lead From Gold, Loose Change
- Fourth Column: Adagio, Attrition Orbs, Deconstruct, Permeability, Surrounded, Voltshot
In the context of PvE, the ideal Indebted Kindness roll would feature Lead From Gold and Voltshot. The former ensures that the weapon’s ammo reserves remain well-stocked, while the latter substantially boosts its AOE (area of effect) damage potential. Notably, the pistol can be equipped with Rocket Launcher Bars and Magazine Mods, indicating that perks such as Quick Launch and High-Velocity Rounds are available.
Comparable to a weapon featuring Explosive Payload, the Indebted Kindness inflicts two instances of damage per trigger pull. Consequently, it has the capability to activate Voltshot‘s chain lightning effect with just one hit. If adversaries are in close proximity to one another, Voltshot and the splash damage from the explosion could potentially eliminate or at least severely wound multiple targets. Meanwhile, Lead From Gold significantly enhances the utility of the Heavy Ammo Finder helmet mod by allowing it to grant both Special and Heavy Ammo.
Regrettably, this weapon is particularly challenging to use in PvP due to its sluggishly moving projectiles. To mitigate this issue to a certain extent, players can maximize the gun’s Velocity via perks such as Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, and Impulse Amplifier with a Velocity Masterwork. The archetype-specific Beacon Rounds provide the weapon with homing rockets after securing a kill, yet due to the gun’s subpar ammo economy in the Crucible, acquiring enough ammunition to effectively leverage the perk can pose a challenge.
Players have the chance to obtain the Indebted Kindness pistol throughout any of the three Warlord’s Ruin dungeon encounters, with the initial boss encounter being the easiest out of all three, making it the most favorable location for farming an Indebted Kindness god roll.
After trying out the Indebted Kindness in my Destiny 2 gaming sessions, I can confidently say that this Legendary sidearm has significantly enhanced my gaming experience. Its unique perks and capabilities allow for a truly immersive and exciting time in both PvE and PvP modes. If you’re a fan of exotic weaponry, this is an absolute must-have for your arsenal.
