These weapons, scattered throughout the Dark Place and Bright Falls, aid Saga and Alan in their fight against the shadows and Taken. Some weapons require players to find key items or solve puzzles to collect them and add them to their inventory. Pistol

Saga begins the game with her service weapon, a 12-shot pistol known for its close-to-mid-range accuracy and fast reload time.

Sawed-Off Shotgun

Players can find the powerful sawed-off shotgun in the General Store at Cauldron Lake. However, access to the shotgun case is granted only after defeating the cultist in the store, which requires returning to Cauldron Lake. Once the cultist is defeated, players can locate the shotgun case on the right wall of the back room. The lock code for the case is 7-3-9.

Crossbow

The crossbow is hidden in a cultist stash along the path to Coffee World in Waterly. Although it has a slow reload time, the crossbow deals precise damage and allows players to retrieve fired arrows after combat, offering an efficient ammo option. To find the stash, players must leave downtown Waterly and head towards Ilmo. After restoring power to the first save area on the trail, players should look for the stash by sharply turning left after exiting the small cabin. The code to unlock the stash is 5-2-7.

Hunting Rifle

Players can acquire the hunting rifle by obtaining the employee access ID for the Valhalla Nursing Home and Wellness Center. After getting the ID, search the main office area behind the reception counter for the doorknob. Insert the doorknob into the door without a handle beside the security room to find the hunting rifle in the gun rack.

Pump-Action Shotgun

The pump-action shotgun, capable of delivering rapid-fire tight-spread shotgun blasts, can be found in the sheriff’s office backroom. Players can access the backroom after reclaiming the sheriff’s office from the Taken. The shotgun is contained in a case on the left wall. To acquire the pump-action shotgun, approach the case and enter the code 7-2-3.

Alan’s Weapons

Revolver

Alan will discover his revolver shortly after escaping the TV studio and conversing with the mysterious caller at the pay phone. After the neon neighborhood illumination sign cutscene with Alex Casey in the alley, players will find the revolver and flashlight as they embark on Alan’s shadow-filled journey.

Flare Gun

The flare gun can be found during Mr. Door’s talk show musical segment. Players will receive the flare gun during the musical sequence, simply needing to pick it up from the table by the typewriter when it appears.

Double-Barreled Shotgun

Alan’s final available weapon is the double-barreled shotgun, obtainable from the balcony of the Oceanview Hotel. Solve the light puzzle to gain access to the storage room and retrieve the shotgun.
